ok... someone said that you can eat aloe plants. So my questions is... can u really eat aloe plants without getting sick... is it good for you??? If you CAN eat it... which parts can you eat?

Also... if you don't have a sun burn... and you take aloe from a plant... and rub it on ur skin... is it good for ur skin? Or is it just there?

THANK YOU!

Yep, you can eat it. The leaves and the seeds are edible. And yes, it's very good for you.
Aloe is also very good for your skin, and especially when you have a sunburn, as you mention. That's why you see it in so many skin and hair products. When you slice open an aloe leaf it's very gel-like, and you can rub it on the burn. Any burn, sun burn or other.
I use aloe in my rock garden area. It looks great mixed with other succulents.
Happy Gardening!
