I have to write an essay on "the three most unnecessary/unwanted/irritable inventions that aggravate you in your life everyday" ... I just need some ideas because I'm having some trouble figuring out what to write about. Thank You SOOOO much !!!

Vehicles.....because you pay thousands of dollars and they are always breaking down....but buy a hair dryer and it last for years.....Go figure...
Coffee Makers .....the price doesn't matter...........they all break down 6 months after you buy them...
My koi and goldfish pond because the dogs won't stay out of it.........in the summer ........
Otherwise I'm pretty satisfied.

unnecessary- Most inventions were made to save time but some just waste time and money. Diaper Genie! I have one from were my son was a baby, and I can't even give it away now!
unwanted- Cell phones, people can't seem to stay off the phone while driving and almost cause accidents.
irritable- Cell phones, and anything that is bought brand new (just come onto market) because there are always bugs that need fixing. When something is new, I wait for about a year or so before I want one, because that should give the manufactures to fix them where they won't tear up.

My personal nemesis is the electric tin opener!!! As I can never get the balance right to get it to work.
I guess you could also say mobile phones - as you have to put up with other people's conversations in the street/ bus/ train ect.
And computer games/ consoles - as kids easily get addicted to them, and no longer spend time runnnig outdoors playing and using their imaginations.

pay at the pump gas machines. i realize that these are good for the store owner because it decreases the probability of people stealing gasoline, but i don't want to use my credit card and you never know exactly how much its going to cost until you've fueled up. I JUST WANT TO PAY CASH AFTER!!!!! AAARRRRGGG!!!!!
