Factories... greenhouses... they produce carbon dioxide and other harmful gases. Burning of fossil fuels ALSO contributes to global warming. How this happens, is that greenhouse gases slowly destroy the ozone layer. Hence, we get less protection from the sun, and more of the sun's heat penetrates the layer. Hence, we feel hotter, the ground gets hotter, and ice cream sellers make a lot!

Global warming is NOT related to the hole in the ozone layer. The hole in the ozone layer was principally caused by CFC emissions during the 20th century. Ozone thinning is a completely separate issue.
Global warming is simply the process of the earth warming up (average temperature rise). This is theoretically caused because of an increase in CO2 (carbon dioxide) emissions. The theory runs that as CO2 in the atmosphere increases more of the sun's heat is trapped in the atmosphere and reflected/radiated back towards the earth. In this way the global temperature rises. It is undeniable that CO2 levels are rising and that the Earth's average temperature is rising, however, some people dispute that the two are linked.

global warming is the depletion of our ozone layer, resulting in uv rays from the sun going through and melting our polar ice caps. Thus causing all kinds of problems such as with animals and weather. The whole fus over global warming is as to weather its our fault or not. Global warming is just a theory and not all belive. As one person, i do not believe in global warming. I think its just the media putting out their negative images as usual. But i dont want to get into it. Thats pretty much global warming w/ out the scientific mumbo jumbo. hope this helped

global warming is the increase of the temperature of the earth, and it is caused by pollution and the increase of carbon dioxide in the air, the earth temperature is increasing, and although the smoke from cars and factories and planes is one of the causes of global warming, some scientists say that this smoke is actually protecting us from somehow, it is actually a really complicated issue and really important as well
