I might say Tampa Bay. I think he will end up as a career backup. A heisman means nothing. His performance in the national championship showed that he couldn't play at the top level. Almost identical to Eric Crouch except he is slower than Crouch. Crouch didn't make it as a QB. Unless Smith gets a better chance, he won't make it.
Zabransky is a better quarterback and athlete. Troy Smith could turn his game around and become a great player, but unless he improves tremendously, he doesn't have the skills to win in the NFL.

At best, third round. Although he had a good season, that Championship game drastically lowered his value, showing that he is nothing without a good supporting cast (not to mention that he is a lot smaller than most quarterbacks in the NFL). I see him being a Seneca Wallace/ Michael Vick combination: fast, short, overrated, and a good arm. He's not the best quarterback in the draft, Russel is. For Pete's sake the man can throw the ball 80 yards standing and 40 sitting! Anyway, that's my 2 cents on the matter. Smith will go to a team that needs a decent, workable rookie quarterback, or even a kick returner. Maybe Kansas City (they lost Trent Green yesterday) or maybe even Houston.

He will get drafted. Dont expect him to go earlier than the late second round, unless some teams see something everyone else doesnt. I love Troy Smith, I love Ohio State, but I dont know how good he will do in the NFL. I do know hes better than Brady Quinn, because hes more mobile, has a stronger arm, and can lead his team and win under pressure (if you forget about that National Championship game). Brady Quinn hasnt proved himself at all. Im guessing he will get picked by his hometown team, the Browns, in the 3rd round. And about JaMarcus Russell, who cares if he can throw 40 yards sitting down? When are you ever going to throw sitting down? Troy Smith threw 73 yards in the skills competition, and he said it didnt matter because your never going to have to throw it 73 yards.
Troy Smith has the potential to be a bust, or he could be the next Tom Brady and win 4 Super Bowls. No matter what, he will always have a job ready for him at Ohio State Univeristy.

He will get drafted by the Minnesota Vikings in the 6th round. Troy Smith will fit well with their needs and system. While the Vikings like Tavaris Jackson, the coach realizes they need a solid backup for him in troy smith.

On the bench in the Canadien Football League or maybe in NFL Europe with one of those squads. He has all the mentals for football but no physical capabilities to compete. I thought he was fast but we all saw the BCS game & I should've known better that he only looks fast in the Big 10. Granted the whole Florida team is faster than the entire Big 10 combined but he clearly displayed if you don't have anyone to throw to [no Terry Ginn] you better find alternatives faster than he did with Florida. WE all know that the NFL is a notch faster than Florida so he definately not going to do that in the league even with good wide-outs. My personal opinion be a coach in the league then work your way up to head coach it is safer and you should walk upright until retirement.

I think he will get drafted, but not in the earlier rounds. He was unimpressive in his pre-draft workouts, and will soon find out what a mistake it was to not be in tip-top physical condition for those workouts. Also, there was already some question as to how his skills translated to the NFL. He's a great athlete to be sure, and he has proven that he knows how to win under pressure. But, many athletic QB's that won in college failed in the pros. Teams will be cautious, and his wunderlich scores will be evaluated closely.

I think he will get picked up on the second day by the Ravens. He can train there under Mcnair. Learn some skills and be a good backup or situational player.

I'm thinking, one of the mid-maximum security prisons in the midwest. Maybe he'll get to share a cell with Maurice Clarrett.

After the terrible loss in the chapinoships, he's probably going to a team that desperately needs a quarterback. He might even be a starter, like Vince Young. I say maybe........the Lions or Texans.

N.E. should draft him he'd be a solid backup to Brady. and hed be in the shotgun all the time like he was with OSU. But of course that best case scenario. Worst case he ends up anywhere else bc he wont fit anywhere else.
