... what was the thing that you were most afraid of (besides hitting someone or running a person over)?

I used to be terrified of making left turns off the main street into the side street. I'd ride around Chicago, making right turns only, making these huge circles until I actually got lost and had to have my husband come and get me.
I laugh at it now, but at the time, it was really terrible. Needless to say, my feather trigger tempered husband was not impressed, either.

Making blind turns, and being cut off in traffic. I was scared of making lefts too! I had my whole town mapped out into a series of right turns. At least I'm not the only one who did that!

When I started I was fine but on the highway I always had problems merging but I eventually learned you have to usually either speed up a little over the speed limit to get in if people are not letting you in or play it safe and signal early and pray someone will let you in before the entry road runs out (The Canadian Highway Merging system is pretty stupid-our right lanes run out eventually) and if you are on the right lane on the highway there is a good chance it will eventually become an offramp forcing you off the highway.

I was worried about driving off a cliff, since the first time I (legally) drove a car was on a narrow and windy mountain road

Getting into and off highways at night. I had no problems during the day, but at night I couldn't trust my rear-view mirrors and was afraid I would get in an accident.

It relies upon on your budget truly. in case you opt for a German or jap automobile you will locate that there is a 30% loading on the coverage plans because of the fact the spares are extra high priced. to pass extra low-priced on coverage decide for the two a Ford Fiesta or Vauxhall Corsa. to make certain if that's the reality ask any coverage corporation and that they are going to learn like for like. the alternative is yours.

I was terrified to drive on the freeway. Even if I had to go across town I'd find a low road to go on.
