In last night's drunken shenanigans, I did one thing that I can't stop hating myself for ... I sang "Achy Breaky Heart" karaoke style. I've done a lot of awful things drinking before, but I can honestly say I would rather say I'd picked a fight with a disabled person or had intercourse with a bearded lady than I sang that song.
I had a driver, who was a coworker, and I also made a bit of a fool of myself cracking awful jokes about an underage intern. Then I think I broke my toe stumbling around when I got home.
But the song is the thing that is lingering in my hungover brain. It's not that I did a bad job of it, just my song selection was a bit stupid. Don't you agree?
I should have quit after I rocked out White Wedding. Alas.

Don't HATE yourself. But I think i'll recommend getting duck tape over your mouth with a hole for a straw when you go out drinking next time.

Dont hate yourself..im a big believer that if your drunk enough 2 sing karaoke then you should always pick the worst song you can think of..and make it worse!!! Achy Breaky Heart is the perfect song for this so im givin you 10/10 for your karaoke!!!

OHH MAN you should'a rocked the Idol man! Only problem is it probably would have been creepier when you made the underage intern jokes. Cause I'm not fully sure about the lyrics of white wedding off the top of my head but I would have to assume that is Billy Idol is singing about marrying the kinda girl who could wear a white dress she'd have to be pretty young. So that might of made things worse, I dunno. Achy Breaky ain't THAT bad by the way.

Don't hate yourself just let be a reminder for next time. You may want to think about checking into AA though, you are definitely an alchy when you sing Achy Breaky Heart.

You'll be alright. Karaoke is meant to be fun and to make fun of, it's not a talent. That's why the AI judges always compare a average or sub-par performance to it. Relax, go out again with the same group and choose an even sillier song, 9 to 5, anything by Meat Loaf, etc.

LOL!!! Ah yes...alcohol does make us do some really stupid things! heheh! Just blame it on too much to drink and move on...or better yet, play the whole "I was so drunk I can't remember what I did" angle...that is a GREAT blanket excuse! hehehe! Now, be more careful next time so this doesn't happen again! I can certainly feel your pain! Could have been worse, you could have sang "You Light Up My Life"!!! *aaarrgghhh*

You shouldnt hate yourself at all, because you may have thought that it was a stupid song selection, but others may have liked it. Think back.Did anybody else pick that song. If yes, maybe it wasnt a stupid selection.If no, people may feel that you werent scared to express that your different than others!!
