Because Luis
You have been cursed with a tragic malady known as "taste"--it happens every now and then with people--- not quite so much as it used to occur --- because now they have all the modern "remedies" for this which includes the mainstream media hype and of course the well engineered "peer guidance" thing --and the genuine killer innoculation --- pop radio !!
So, don't feel too bad---- it may be something that you have to "live with" because once an individual has developed "taste" it is damned near incurable !! You'll be looked at in peculiar ways by people in certain situations if you "blurt out" your viewpoints on certain things that are part of the "brain functions" of this disease but-- all-in-all it won't OR shouldn't present any perminent damage to real friends and relations --- it just makes you somewhat "uncool" for not being just another "one of the herd" !!!!

I am a "bit" older than you, but I started listening to classical music when I was 4. Five decades later, I still listen to it and still love it. Why ask why? Listen to whatever pleases you.

Because you're sophisticated and classic. Don't think you're weird about it. I do too.
