This applies if you are in India.
Ensure you have a Permanent Account Number (PAN) since you have never filed return, you will be asked for a copy of it while filing the return.
If you are salaried for year ending 31/03/2007 you can file any time before 30/06/2007,
Business without tax audit before 31/8/2007,
Business /Profession with tax audit then 31/10/2007.

it appears you are talking about Income tax return.You can file your return any time before or even after due date but you should have PAN No. which is required to be mentioned on the return.

u have until April 15th in most years but since the 15th comes on a Sunday they will more than likely extend the deadline until the 16th or 17th--just mail it by the 14th and u will be safe.
