Even a memory is viewed in logical sequence (not last to first but first to last). There is no rewind view in our memory. God has limited our thinking process in some ways otherwise we all would be playing with our thoughts all the time and not carry on with life.
However there must be some people who to some extent have developed the sense of running a thought backwards in their minds - like, those who can spell complex words or recount large numbers backwards and those crime busters or analysers who rebuild the sequence of events from a scene of crime.

Thought is the only purely scientific thing in the material world, allowing free movement backwards or forwards or along any other dimension other than linear. Those getting to experience that quality of time are the lucky ones. They should put it to better use than to get afraid of the so called nihility. It will open up the realm of new possibilities of extra sensory perception, given to the evolved souls. Go forward boldly and reap the benefits.
