to be honest, i think Close encounters of the Third kind will be remade. but will be disapointing...

i think the biggest major classic that EVERYBODY knows will be star wars. they are remaking episodes IV,V, and VI. those were the ones made in the 70s, they want to have the series to include all the same actors and technology. i think they will be better movies, but the classics will always be remembered.

The Fly (1986) is being remade in 2008. Cast is still unknown, as is the rating.

I think one of the movies produced in the 50s to the 60s and make them set in the modern day. i would someone to do a remake of Marilyn Monroe's the seven year itch. i will like to see whoever plays the role see herself blown by the subway sewer and blown her dress up

Motel Hell (1980)
While not a TRUE classic, it is certainly a cult classic. I've heard rumors that the remake might even be in development now.
