most of the review i seen is says the xbox 360 has had better graphics in the games compared to the ps3 although the ps3 is the more powerful console on paper. so i was wondering since i am planning to get a console soon is the performance on the ps3 get better soon in the graphic side compared to the xbox 360 as it is suppose to be more powerful or will the xbox 360 still have the better looking game in the future or is the ps3 capable to beat the xbox 360 in the graphic side? Since xbox didn't even have 1080p until they distributed an update to current xbox owners in Jan. of 2007 -The ps3 has always had 1080p --I am not sure what reviews could possibly say xbox has had better graphics.
Game developers that don't use the full potential of the 1080p hidef format are responsible for the look of the games claiming to be hidef that don't appear to be.
Ps2 games will never look hidef even with ps3 on a hidef tv--
Xbox is coming out with a xbox 360 "black" limited edition that has 1080p and a 120gig hard drive ($499-$599)-- But you still have to buy the wireless adapter for $50 bucks and the hddvd player for another $100.
The quality on either system you get will depend on your Hidef-T.V- refresh rate load speed and contrast ratio and on the game developers themselves.
Both systems are awesome and xbox just nabbed some of sonys games and Ps3 will have an online game similar to second life in April for beta- august for full.

First of all, i would like to tell you that i am a professional and expert gamer. I am the part of the "pro-gamers" community.
I own both the consoles i.e. the Xbox 360 and the Ps3.
Both the consoles have superb power as they are known as the 3rd generation consoles.i own many common games on both the consoles, but i gotta tell you that though the PS3 might have beaten the xbox 360 on paper, it has not beaten it really!!
The graphics that i have seen on the Xbox 360 are quite far better than those on the Ps3 and the gameplay if also far better.Though, the Ps3 beats the 360 in other hardware like a 60 gig hard-drive, 360 owners need not worry, because microsoft is bringing another edition of detachable hard-drives which could store upto 120 GB!!!
The Ps3 though has just been released before 4 months, people and gaming experts say that Ps3 is a potential console and would work efficiently and far more superiorly than the xbox 360 in the coming years. dont listen to them, it's a crap!!!
I really and truly believe that this time Microsoft have stolen the title of "GAMING CONSOLE KING" from Sony who were reigning since 1995 in the gaming industry.The Microsoft employees have made the console such that it not only perofrms on par, but also in hardware.
My Verdict : Ps3 is a type of console which a person should buy if a person should want a cheap Blu-Ray player than a gaming console!
For extreme gaming, buy only Xbox 360!!

The graphics on the PS3 is wayyy better than the Xbox 360. I don't know who told you that Xbox 360 has better graphics, but they are dead wrong. The PS3 has 6 processors and a high end video card. The PS3 is a lot stronger too. The only problem with the PS3 is the price. It costs double what the Xbox 360 costs.

I have both consoles, but I haven't hooked up my PS3 to an HDTV. Only my Xbox 360, which would make it 1080i. I'm getting a 1080p TV soon, so I'm not sure. But I assume that the difference would be very slim because I play with 1080i and it's pretty sweet.

see the people making games for the ps3 aren't using all the power the can use if they wanted to all the games would have better grapics on the ps3 than 360 but they need more games so they make them fast and have the same graphics than 360 and thge ps3 is more advance than the 360 in every way

My advice would be for you to go to a store where both consoles are hooked up to the same Kind of TV. Preferrably on a high end HD 1080p. Judge for yourself. There is no difference and the PS3 doesn't overheat.

THST WHY IT LOADS FASTER
360 vga IS BETTER THAN PS3
THTS WHY 360 GRAPHICS IS BETTER
And theres a lot of 360 games
and it cheaper
so buy the 360
but if u really want BLURAY
then buy the PS3
then ur a kid
360 for men

Well i have ps2 so according to what i have heard n listened n read i can say that X box 360 is better than best n ps3 is best.
