Remember the Live 8 concerts of 2 years ago? Remember the leaders of 8 countries promised to cut the debt of countries in Africa and other such promises designed to get them out of poverty?

Did they keep their promises? Has it done any good?

Well, it was a groovy concert anyway!

I think it did some good as the issues regarding the debt that 3rd world countries still had to pay off was splashed al over the world media for a while afterwards.
