Hi, my name is Philip.
I just moved from Europe and now I live in Michigan...
I grew up with graffiti, here's the thing I started art when I was about 4 and by the age of 10 I started sketching and by the age of 11 I started graffiti,........................ and still doing it.
There is only 1 disadvantage of graffiti: People who dont like it just because they don't know anything about it.
The entire rest of it is and advantage:
Expression, universal language, artists own style,..... I cant think of much right now....
PS: and if anyone here says being written on your own wall, well thats vandalistic graffiti, it's art, and it's not a disadvantage THINK!!!!

graffiti is considered art by some people. it is vandalism. destroying someones property w/o their approval is a crime whether the graffiti people like it or not. there must be places for these artists to relaease their abilities outside of defacing what does not rightfully belong to them to begin with.

Advantages: it is the sacred code of the street, the language of the city, of the archetype of the neo-human phenomenon! It is the cipher to which we tell of our times (all three of them, Past_Present_Future) .
Disadvantages: there are posers who like to scribble of works of art and they are a destructive atrocity that should be branded for their lack of respect!
