when you do stat, calc, L1 and it gives you a bunch of data, which one is which?

What does Mean look like? is is X with the Line __ over it?
What does Range look like?
What does variance look like?
what does mode look like?
I know standard deviation is SX.

Yes, mean = X bar (line on top)

Range is (maxX - minX) . . .you work it out from minX and maxX, both of which are given (on the TI-83)

Variance is the square of the standard deviation - work it out from Sᵪ

Mode is the most frequent reading in your list - not all calculators give this, so you should look through your list to find it (sorting the list first helps).
