Joe is right, but they use those hoses to smoke mushrooms with, since those Vee Dub engines don't have water cooling.

You don't even HAVE a 68 VW bus!! If you did you would know that THAT year VW is Air-Cooled engine!! No radiator...No liquid coolant...NO HOSE!!

good question dude,ive seen them next to the muffler bearings and radio fluid at the part store.You need a adjustable screw driver and a water hammer to install it.
