Speaking from a mans point of view...Dont serenade a guy, you gotta do something thats up tempo, thatll get his attention, even a stupid dance will do, if anything, it'll make em laugh and thats the kicker!!!

I would find out what music he is into first. Then find a song that has special meaning to him.
There is no use seranading him with a song that he doesn't like.
It will mean more if it is a song that he likes (but make sure the lyrics say what you want to say too)
By the way...can you sing?

"She's the Boss"
Mick Jagger
First solo album.
You might as well get it over with at the outset, besides.......if he's worth your attention it should tickle his sense of the ludicrous.
Other thoughts, my current ex-wife of 15 years standing rented me/us a Harley Hog for my birthday.....now that hit the spot ! Now I come to think of it............that's probably why she's still my current ex-wife.......

flee1906 needs a dictionary. Your spelling is correct.
It doesn't matter what song it is, as long as you are sincere when you sing it.
