hi there....let me first just say this...NEVER ignore something you dont consider normal....and i say that with all the concern i can give through this machine....i made that mistake with my first child and it cost me his life....even if you suspect something is wrong get checked out...its your drs job to reassure you that everythings alright but even after that if you still feel not right go to the hospital and get looked at....trust your instincts.....Rosie

I would definately get to the hospital. I had those symptoms when I was 28 weeks with my first and by the time I got to the hospital, I was already 4 cm. dilated. They would give you medicine to mature the baby's lungs and to stop the contractions. Most likely you'll go on bedrest for as long as you can before delivering (I only lasted until 31 weeks). Best wishes, I hope everything's ok.

By the way, just because you haven't lost amniotic fluid doesn't mean you're not dilating...my water was broken for me about two hours before delivery when I was 8 cm. Good luck.

have you had a recent vaginal exam? If so, this could be from that.. Either way, you should call the o.b. or "on call o.b." to let them know about it and they will tell you if they think you should come in for a checkup.
As long as the baby is moving and you have not lost any amniotic fluid you should be ok. But lower abdominal pain before 36 weeks not supposed to be normal, so you should call them right away.

go to the hospital and get it checked out and dont wait around for ppl who know nothing to give you an answer.sounds to me like you had a 'show' where the cervix is opening and if the baby is kicking a lot it could be a sign of distress so GO TO THE HOSPITAL NOW
