There are 74 references to Touro University International (TUI) in US News and World Report. . . .

You will find the TUI US News and World Report ranking here:

US News and world report also lists TUI here:

TUI is accredited by the Western Association of Schools of Colleges (WASC), one of six regional accrediting bodies.

Regional accreditation (RA) is the gold standard accreditation in the United States. There is no "higher than RA". TUI is a fully paid-up member of WASC. It was and I believe still is, owned by Touro college in New York, a well regarded non-profit B&M institution.

While it may be true that some for-profit online colleges are a rip-off (I can think of one particularly egregious offender. Very large - biggest in the industry I think), it is far from the case that all, or most, are. My experience is that most deliver a sound product tailored to prevailing market conditions. The majority of online for-profit institutions offer flavor-of-the-month advanced trade degrees - MBA, MPA, MITech, et al, and like any grouping of B&M institutions, the online college cohort contains good and bad providers.

Much of the resistance to and suspicion of, web-mediated delivery (WMD), is due I think, to confusing and conflating the education process and outcomes. There is no intrinsic value in B&M colleges independent of outcomes. The nature of the process is irrelevant where it does not measurably effect outcomes relative to some other medium (say WMD).

In the world of web-mediated education, after perhaps a shaky start, TUI has held its own very well, in my opinion. TUI degrees carry the "prestige" and certainly the utility of conferral by a regionally accredited institution. The identical accreditation to that enjoyed by Stanford, UC Berkeley, USC, UCLA, CalState, . . . and on.

RE:
What rank is Touro University International in the world and in the USA ?

It has no rank. They only rank top schools. Touro has no prestige whatsoever. Don't consider a degree from there to be of any advantage other than it's better than not having a degree at all.

They are not ranked at all as they are an online, for-profit university. They are "regionally accredited" - The accreditation is at the lowest level, but it is a legitimate accreditation.

There is a big debate raging in the USA now about the quality of these online "for profit" schools. Many people in business and education think they are rip-offs. I tend to agree.
