No you're not their slave....considering that they pay for the food you eat and the clothes you wear and the bed you sleep in and having a roof over your head...not to mention all the doctor and dentist bills that have accumulated over all the years of your life (including the big one when you were born) then no you're definitely NOT their slave...besides slaves can be bought or sold and (at least in Michigan) it's against the law to sell your children. They're just trying to teach you responsibility and how to take care of yourself for when you become an adult and get your own place.

Honestly u are your parents slave because you do work for no money. You need to not do no more work in till they give money for doing it. When they give u the money u do the work but when they dont give u the money dont do the work . Doing chores for no money is a waste of time

That means you are contributing to the family. It also means that your parents are training you to be productive in life when you are an adult. If you marry some little spoiled girl who never lifted a hand to do chores, maybe you'll have a chance not to live in squalor.

technically yes after all the slaves were provided housing and food as well. at the same time no though because if you don't do them for free you might get the boot!

Think of it more like a barter system. They use you to get their house clean and in exchange they buy your clothing, food, school supplies and provide shelter. Funny question though. I think most of us felt like a slave at one point living with parents.

I hate to go parental on you but you are getting paid lets add it up, and average apt goes for $750-$900 a month, add in the following clothing, food, electricity, cable, cell phone, you are getting paid very well, be glad your folks are paying most of these bills for you.

Consider for a moment that the alternative involves a bridge and a cardboard box.

Seeing how you are living there and getting fed for nothing, no way junior. I think you might be a little more grateful to mom and dad in the future.
