cleaning out the registry?

Question

i need to know what the entry is to take specific entries out of the registry. I dont want to go to a website. I have done it before but i cant remember the dos entry. does anyone now what im talking about. This is the problem. im at my cousins house and she has tons of trojan horse virusus on her computer. I cannot download anything due a security pop up comes up saying not allowed. there rore i need to manually go into the registry and delete them myself. can anyone help please

Start> Run> type regedit

That will bring up the Registry Editor. Be CAREFUL in there, if you delete something you shouldn't, your OS is done for.

Well your couise should have an anti virus program. I see that you can't download anything so downloaded the 30 day trail of AVG or 15 day trail of any Symantec product. First go to my computer>rightclick>propites>systemrestoretab>turnoffsystemrestore>restartinsafemode>runfullsystemscan> Hope this helped

DOWNLOAD AVAST! AND RUN IT, U WILL BE ABLE TO GET RID OF A LOT OF VIRUSES AND TROJANS. RUN NORTON ANTI VIRUS ALSO, TWO ANTI-VIRUSES MAY RUN COUNTER AND AGAINST EACH OTHER SO BE CAREFUL.
