You can get different sorts so it depends what kind it is.
You can get fake beards from fancy dress stores that have elastic to keep them on if its for fancy dress!
You can also buy beards from there that you stick on with glue... its not normal glue that you would glue say paper with etc its speical stuff for skin and does come off if you peel it.
Im wondering why you want a fake beard now!!!

I know this sounds crazy, but I have seen vasoline and coffee grounds applied for that 5 o'clock shadow look.

You can actually dab hair by hair with glue. Might not take long as you think.
