Selling Abroad

There are different ways to sell products abroad. I'm listing some of them below:

1. Make your web-site advertising for that product.

2. Become member of a group of people interested in such products (on-line).

3. Sell on a web-site like e-bay.

4. Contact buying houses / export-houses in your country. This will help you avoid all the paper-work and it's quite easy. But the down-side is that your profit margin is reduced.

Anyways, first you'll have to do a lot of research and find out where, how and what sorts of products you can sell. A lot of research on designs must be done and also the export regulations of your country so that you can get necessary permits and licenses etc.

Hope this helps.

Online....probably such typical sites as http://ebay.com

But you could also try to sell them or advertise yourself in magazines geared towards carving enthusiasts worldwide. It may also depend on that kind of wood carving you do. Is it figureheads? Nautical stuff? For there's also a subgroup for that too.

I would suppose either online or make a catalog for them to order. You would have to look into the import-export laws also.
