Wonderful question... insightful... my Star!!
Who we are means how we are defined. In order to define ourselves, we need to draw boundary lines around ourselves and that of course means restricting ourselves. In order to acquire an identity, we are bound to restrict our entity..... unrestricted entity is all pervading and hence has no distinct identity. For determining who we are,we need as well to determine who we are not... and that is obviously restrictive!!

The first one, We are the way which we look at life through. If you think your life is the worst in the world. It will turn out to be the worst. But if you think your life is the best, then it'll turn out to be the best. If life was restricting who we are, then why live?
