Just remove that last update. It should show as hotfix update from MS. Go to add/remove programs and scroll down until you see the last updates & remove them. MS have some crappy updates who can give real issues to PCs.

Try cleaning your temp internet files/history and also your system temp files and user temp files! Also unplug your modem and reconnect!

If you have a legal copy of Windoze for that PC, call Microsoft.

If not, buy one!!!

Check that its firewall has not been modified by the update.
