and by lovers, you can define them. lifetime partners (though of course he'll outlive the bat); simply f-buddies, and everything in between that involves them having sex. I'd love to hear the politics between the lines.
I simply love it that in JLA, Batman's the "part-timer" but is also the strategist, while Superman's cover boy.
so, let's talk sex and politics.

You really need to read "The Authority"

Never happen. They can't stand each other. Superman thinks Batman is a reckless vigilante who carelessly endangers innocent lives, while Batman believes Superman is a puppet of the U.S. Government and an over-grown "Boy Scout" whose idealism is not in synch with the violent reality of modern life. If you don't believe me, re-read Frank Miller's "The Dark Knight Returns."

There's already a Superman/Batman lover knock-off in Wildstorm (I think) comics. It's with some guy called Midnighter and a Super-man kind of guy. They live in a satellite and have an adopted kid and everything. I think the comic is called "Authority."

That's funny......I have an absolute obession w/ Batman. I have a bat signal tat. My hubby also wears a tool belt and has a mask......we have a cape too........ how's that for Batman as a lover...lol..My jeep has the bat signal on the hood, my headliner in the jeep & speaker boxes are all covered w/ Batman material. Yeah, I'm a little obessed but, I like Batman because he DOESN'T have any super powers....all he needs is a tool belt and that's sexy!

Butt-buddies, and Superman's the b$tch in the relationship. Batman is an abusive alcoholic.
Batman (completely wasted) comes home from chasing an imaginary clown through the city and takes his anger out on Superman's as$. Than he beats the f$ck out of him for not wiping. lmao

they can't agree on how to fight crime, what makes you think that they could agree on who was catcher?

this is of course assuming you forget that Superman has Lois, and Batman has in the past been with Batgirl and Catwoman and flirted with Wonder Woman and Zatana, nbot to mention the countless 'Paris Hiltons of Gotham' he's nailed to cement his status as a rich pretty-boy-himbo to distract from his night life, and assuming they were all beards, he has Robin and Nightwing
