I am designing a some what small website to show some of the services I provide, like customizing My Space profiles , glitter graphics, group home pages, etc. The w/s will show things I've already done. This is all 4 my Ebay. So I need some eye catching w/s links that jump out and when you see the w/s you go wow nice page!

Here are some of the colors I thought might be ok.
the first color after each number is the background and the text is the second color.

Please put the number you like or w/s links with eye catching colors etc. if none of the colors look good please make suggestions. i'm not good with picking colors.
Thanx 4 any help.

Probably the best site that I've encountered when it comes to looking for design help for websites is the following:

http://www.csszengarden.com/

It's a page where various professional designers, just by modifying the style sheet, completely change the look of the main page. When you first go to the page, you see what the page looks like with the default style sheet. There are about a hundred others to choose from, and they all look completely different (in the default style, the links to the other designs are listed to the right. Go to "View All Designs"). Then you can look at what the html and css look like to see how the look was acheived.

ETA: when you asked for websites that looked cool, this honestly was the first website that came to mind. The rest was just an explanation of how to see it in all its coolness: go to the "View All Designs" link and you can see snapshots of all the designs that have been created for the site.

I would use 4 or 5. The trick to picking colors is move 3 to 5 feet away from your monitor, now, can you read the smallest print on your page, if you can then the readability of your sight is good. Don't pick colors that jump out at you and make it hard to read your text. Always pick contrasting colors like, a soft yellow and black instead of say light blue and dark blue.
