There have been many complex theories formulated explaining that Dumbledore somehow faked his own death. J.K. Rowling has confirmed that Dumbledore is irreversibly dead. But she has also said that we will be hearing more of him in Book 7, not as a ghost, but in a different form. The significance of his portrait int he Headmaster's office also remains to be seen.

Certainly seems like it!
After all, others have died; haven't they?
In fact, I'm a bit concerned she'll kill off either Harry or Neville in the last book!
I think by killing Dumbledore, though, she truly sets up the name of her series for the last book and gives the last book more climax ... No 1.
It means that Harry truly has to be the hero now;
... and No 2:
It makes the whole series more like many of the old standard motion picture scripts, where, as one gets closer and closer to the end of the movie, the task for the hero becomes more and more unlikely and more daunting for him to conquer the villain!
In typical climactic fashion, everything seems to build up against the hero, until he makes some Master-stroke, often 'lasat-ditched' effort, move right at the end and wins the day, despite the enormous compounding odds against him.
I'm expecting this last book to be over 1000 pages!

yes Dumbledore dies... but I think it is one of the bests chapters in that book... Draco was a fool.. But I think... that things would be very clear when the seventh book comes out..
what we have to ask ourselves is: Who is Severus Snape?
He promised Narcisa he would kill Dumbledore if her son wasn't enough brave... but why? Wich kind of relation do Dumbledore and Sanpe have? Wich are/were their planes? were there any planes?
There was a little part on the fifth book where Albus And quejicus were talking... or that's what Hagrid told Harry.
Well... We'll have to wait to see what happens next...
I have a question for you all....: have anyone of you seen a famous actor from the Harry Potter movie cast?

Yes. In book six : Harry Potter and the Half Blood Prince. Voldemort sent Malfoy to kill him. But Malfoy was too scared to do it. So in the end Proffesor Snape killed Dumbledore.

I don't think so. I think Fawkes is possibly a horcrux and that Dumbledore survives through him. Phoenixes are reknowned for being reborn from the ashes, so that would fit.
I think Dumbledore has chosen to appear to die, so that others (possibly Snape) have a clear path to bring things to the necessary climax - or perhaps to lure Voldemort back into the world so that he can then be destroyed.

My guess is NO.
Think polyjuice potion and an even better way to get Snape to the heart of Voldemort's circle.
Desperate times call for desperate remedies.

For christians: Among the terrifying images in books two and three were: a disembodied voice repeatedly
hissing "kill"; monstrous, flesh-eating spiders; children being attacked
and paralyzed; and an apparently dead cat hung upside down by its tail (USA Today,
June 15, 2000).
In book four of the series (Goblet of Fire) the evil character named "Wormtail"
cuts up Harry’s arm to extract blood in order to bring "Voldemort" (the
most evil character) back to life. (This is an occult practice done to supposedly
pass mystic power from one person to another during some occult rituals.) Rowling
called Voldemort a "raging psychopath, devoid of the normal human responses
to other people’s suffering . . ." (Entertainment Weekly, #554, August 11,
2000). Also in the latest epic, Harry’s parents, who have been killed, have to
be extracted from Voldemort’s magic wand. What kind of books are these and what
inspires Row ling’s work? We believe we know. She said, "It’s important
to remember that we all have magic inside us . . ." during an interview being
taped for an "Scholastic Book Fair" video. And when asked in an August
2000 Entertainment Weekly interview by writer Jeff Jensen if she felt any sense
of social responsibility (for the dark nature of the content of Harry Potter) Rowling
answered, "I cannot write to please other people."
