Petra is fascinating, but there is too much competition to vote for it among the seven wonders.

Petra is one of the three demonesses who take the place of the Haliwell sisters in Charmed. She gets blown out along with the rest.

they have this thing where they'r ehcoosing 7 wonders of the modern world... I dunno if Petra is in it... but they have Eiffel tower, Sydney Opera House, Statue of Liberty, etc.
it's pretty nice.
and as for petra, it was a city carved out of a mountain, NOT built.
it's in present-day Jordan in the middle east.

It's the Red Rock City of the Queen of Sheba in the south of Jordan. It was used in the movie Indiana Jones & the Last Crusade. Please provide the link so people can vote if they'd like to.

i know nothing about petra but it must be something truly magical for me to considerd it to be a wonder
