i'm not even a fan of wrestling,yet, i like the drama that they create to have you tuning in to see what is going to happen next week, but i think is funny how a lot of people get into arguments on who's better and who sucks.
it's entertainment, execs and writers make them famous, is not because of their skill of fighting...is how good actors they are and a having a big body doesn't hurt them either.
it's like having mom's arguing over who is the best soap opera actor...or like REV said...it's like the special olympics..."even if u win u still retarded".

Professional Wrestling wasn't always about all the over the top ******** that it is now. If anything most of the modern day stuff that wrestling fans are pelted with is not even really wrestling but a cheap knock off of soap opera drama. It is a weak, wattered down form of crap that is often hard to digest. People get upset when certain professional wrestlers who can barely even wrestle get superman pushes over other obviously better wrestlers. Believe it or not, alot of fans still find a purer form of wrestling more appeasing, even many who are not wrestling purists often want to see more than a big lump of muscled up crap who can barely move around the ring, or only has maybe 3-4 real wrestling moves that are not punch, kick, punch, kick, punch, punch. In your question, without even knowing it you named something that is absolutely wrong with wrestling today. You said it is not about skill, but about execs and writers. That my friend is one of the main things wrong with pro wrestling today. The mark of a good wrestling is not having to have everything force fed to the wrestlers, what to say, how to act, what to do etc etc. The mark of good wrestling is to having guys use their natural talents and skills as professional wrestlers to go out and tell a story in the ring with psychology, or speak from the heart on the mic. That is where the really great wrestling comes from, and that is what is almost all but missing today in all the soap operaesque BS. You can't have good wrestling if you have bad wrestlers, it is just as simple as that.

Thats why Vince McMahon is a genius. Everyone knows wrestling is as fake as it gets, yet they still watch it, because it is entertaining and electrifying. Continue to watch wrestling and you will find your self getting more and more into the story lines and who the champion is. Thats why WWE will never go away

We know it is scripted. When we say who is better and who sucks it is not based on fighting. It is based on mic skill, acting ability, in ring ability, and the overall ability to entertain. Know what you are talking about before you put your foot in your mouth.

its kinda like a soap opra because you have to ppl you hate and the ppl you like and some of them really do have skill admit it you have to have skill to do all these jumps and balance on the top rope but overall its just ... fun
