Igneous rocks can have any grain size - from very fine to very coarse. But the grains are usually not arranged in layers. Considering everything, I would say that 'C' is nearest to the description of an igneous rock. But remember, it is not a rule that igneous rocks have random arrangement of grains ; moreover, a sedimentary or even a metamorphic rock can also have random arrangement of grains. The question is definitely misleading.

It depends on how quickly the rock was cooled. Quickly cooled lava (ie, that which dropped in the ocean, maybe) will have very fine grain, while lava that cooled over time will have coarse grain.

I suppose out of those four, I would say B.
