what in your life do you feel you do not have the time for, the dogs head means that only part of it is there , a relationship with someone who is needy but loyal? someone you love but feel is always getting into situations that require you to rescue them, they don't really demand from you, but they whine to you till you feel you need to help get them out of trouble. i may be a part of your self that needs attention, or a part of you life that keeps giving you trouble, then just when you set it aside and think it is OK, the problems start again. look at the people and things in your life that you have the same feelings about, the answer could lie there. hope this helps! good luck!

The dog not having a body makes it, therefore, completely helpless and reliant on you. This would indicate that you have someone who is very reliant on you in some way, perhaps a relative or a colleague or a friend. The fact that whenever you put it down it got into trouble would indicate that you feel that this person would get into trouble without you there to look after them. The thing about whining, but not barking would suggest that this person doesn't make too much of a fuss, just lets you know in there own quite way that they need you. It's a good sign that you loved this pup' though as it shows a deep love of the person.

This might refer to a person - a friend or loved one - someone who means a lot to you who is becoming overly dependent on you. Whenever you turn your back on them they seem to get into trouble. They won't always admit it (the puppy just whines, never barks) and so you've got to work out what's wrong and how to help them which means you have to give them even more of your time. They might say they don't need you but they know and you know they do!
Or it could refer to a hobby or something you really really want to do. But because the puppy only has a head and only whines not barks, it's something you've perhaps started in the past and never got round to finishing. Or it is a project/interest/goal you would love to devote more time to but never seem to have the opportunity.

Basic Training of the Puppy - Read here https://tr.im/OlhCJ
The new puppy is certainly one of the most adorable and cuddly creatures that has ever been created. It is the most natural thing in the world to shower it with love and affection. However, at the same time it is important to realize that if you want to have a well trained adult dog, you need to begin the training process right away. The dog, like its related ancestor, the wolf, is a pack animal. One of the features of a pack is that it has a single dominant leader. Your new puppy is going to want that leader to be you, but if you do not assume that role from the very beginning, the puppy’s instincts will push him to become the leader.
The most important thing to remember about training the puppy during its first six months of life is that it must see you as the leader of the family pack. The essential thing is gaining the trust and the respect of the puppy from the beginning. You will not do this by allowing the puppy to do whatever it wants to do whenever it wants to do it. On the other hand, a certain amount of patience is required. Most people err in their early training by going to extremes one way or the other. Although you need to begin the basic training process at once, you can not expect your dog to do too much at first. Basic obedience training is fine and should include simple commands like sit, stay, and come. Remember that trying to teach the dog advanced obedience techniques when it is a puppy is much like trying to teach a five year old child algebra.
It is also important to restrain from cruel or abusive treatment of the puppy. You can not beat obedience into your dog, and it certainly is not going to engender feeling of respect and trust. House breaking is an area where this usually becomes a problem because of the anger that is triggered when the puppy fails and creates a mess inside the home. Although this issue must be addressed without anger, it most be addressed. If you allow the puppy to eliminate inside the house, it will continue to do so as an adult dog. The same thing is true of other destructive or dangerous behavior such as chewing and biting. Do not expect the puppy to grow out of it. You are going to need to train the puppy out of it, but you should do so firmly but with a sense of play and fun using positive reinforcement and lots of love and praise for good behavior.

I can tell by your profile that you are a dog fancier and prefer to own a great dane and a thoroughbred.. The puppy that you dreamed of was a crossbreed....it had the body of a thoroughbred but the head was different. You loved that puppy and held it in your arms. The puppy sensed it was not normal. Putting him down made him feel insecure...thats why he fell over. A few years ago I dreamt of the dog I used to have. I took it for a walk and it fell into a stream but the river bank was too high and I could not reach it. A few years later my dog died.

You dreamed about a puppy because you really want a puppy, and you pick any puppy usually because of it's face/head. You have doubts about your ability to take care of it; that is why in your dream the head would just whine, as it needed to be tended to. Puppies require a lot of attention and care, and they bark a lot when happy and play full. Your puppy didn't bark because you did not want it to because it needed you to take care of it. It wasn't a whole puppy because it will only become whole in your dreams, when you have made the commitment to take care of a puppy and make the deceision to get one.
