I hope not, but I do believe that there should be a popular uprising & the people should remove Dubya ASAP. He is doing things in Your Name of which we should all be ashamed. The Constitution surely gives us the right to remove people like that? If it doesn't then it should!

There is a long history of animosity between political parties.
Gun duels were fought on a few occasions in USA's history by politicians who disagree! Of course we did already have a civil war!
That said, I'm sure that some agree with you, so we will see!

so what are we talkin here? red states versus blue states?
seriously, i've wondered this myself. there sure is a lot of venom spewed back and forth here at yahoo, a virtual war of words at hand. and it's not dems and repubs, not even "lieberals" and "repuglikkkans". the way i see it is it's the idiots against the fools. (i'm probably a fool).

No but United We Stand Divided We Fall rings as true as it did 200 years ago. United we could accomplish ANYTHING. Yet the power hungry divide us. The far Right and far Lefts thirst for power knows no bounds even at the cost of even more American lives both at home and abroad.

No it would not solve the problem. I think this problem can resolve itself.
Right now the nation is polarized because very polarizing figures are in power.
There is an election coming up soon. If the candidates can be civil, (And I believe that both front-runners are for running a clean campaign) The nation can begin to resolve its differences.

Yes - the war will be when our social programs are bankrupt and only the rich can get health care and no money for food for the poor. Like 2020 I think.

Don't assume that the answers on the message board represent a fair view of our society. Most Americans are moderates and do not hold the outrageous views posted in Answers. Mainly we all want the George W. Bush fiasco to be over. However there are about 10% of Americans that want him tried for war crimes and about 10% of Americans that want him for life time dictator. This 20% is generally the most vocal on this website.

The Dems would win right now if that did happen, so I really don't think the Pubs want any.
