Help me out here. Why is it that I always get so jealous when my friends pay more attention to their friends than me? What's wrong with me? I know perfectly well that they like me and everything and they have every right to talk to their other friends. Everytime this happens i get really pissed off and then frustrated then sad and then depressed. Who can help me out of this and explain why I keep doing this stupid behavior. It's so annoying. And how can I make it better? How can I not be jealous anymore? And please dont tell me it's cuz I demand a lot of attention, I can figure that much out by myself.
BY the way, I'm an 18 year old guy.
Thanks

Well the first thing is realising you have a problem and good on you - you accept that...

There is a girl at work who is 23 and she still does this and unless you change you will lose your friends - no one is in competition here - maybe you have a big family and are looking for what is lacking there - I dunno - go get some help from a trained professional.... I hope you resolve it soon, try to be happy with yourself - aha - maybe it is just a self esteem problem.... look hard at yourself and figure what it is that you dont like and try to change that, work on your self improvement rather than getting attention.... aleast your mind will be diverted.

hope I have helped - you deserve to feel content with your life
18 is such a difficult age though so go easy on yourself

Good luck - all the best

Hi World of Suffering,
Where did you get that name? Look at the worlds you live in. One likes to suffer, one wants it to be better. Be silent, observe what is going on within you. See which world has strength. You will choose.

That's exactly the same as me! I totally freak out. My advice is that you should tell your friend(s) that they should ignore that person(s) who they are playing with and play with you. That's what I do.
