moons and Mars sign?

Me and the man I fancy have both got Cancer moons. He also has Mars in Cancer and mine is in Aries. Are we likely to be compatible?

People least likely to be compatible, are. In my experience aspects between 2 people don't influence the understanding between them. It's the people that influence the aspects.
So basically, synastry is useless if that person for example has moon opposed to mercury, and appears to be quite able to verbalise their emotions - that means they've worked over that opposition and basically, in my opinion, that opposition is non existent and therefore useless in synastry, because any planet from another person would aspect both, but the tension between both is gone, and so the tension between that other planet should not be there either.

Go for it, and you'll know. Even though I would advice against going out with someone with the same Moon sign as yours - the same element isn't too bad, you have a mutual understanding there emotionally, but imagine having the exact same emotions... and in Cancer, no less!

Also depending where your sun is, you'll have an understanding of the emotions of those people with their moons in the same element sun sign (says the scorpio who has attracted loads of water sign moons in the past five years...) ... and basically any personal planet gives you an understanding of the emotions of the people with moon in that element.

Another thing; is his moon conjunct to his mars? That might give him a more aries-like field of emotions, and you might notice you have completely different emotions about certain things, or that he might have stronger emotions than yourself...
