They aren't classified as mentally ill because they aren't. What they are is self-indulgent and lacking self-control. Personally, for the safety of children [whose lives are changed permanently by pedophilic experiences] I say, on the second clearly proved offense, a pedophile needs to be executed. That's harsh, I know. But 1) why should children be emotionally scarred for life by these people? 2) Pedophiles' victims frequently become pedophiles. The cycle has to stop.

Because they are considered as incapable of attracting someone who is well aware of what is sex, how to do it safely, when to do it ,to whom to do it,what is the major outcome or inconsequence or drawback of it later..most adult guys and women who are matured enough in mind and physique , i mean adult are supposed to have that sense of what they are going to do. BUT those people who committ sex just for momentary feelings and attractions with their minors are not considered smart , capable or qualified enough rather hated by most others ( as minors and kids committ sex just by hormonal excitation and they are sometimes forced to committ sex and so they are helpless), its a violation of humanity and rules of humanright somehow, but as it is a physical need (and right by born as a human like food, shelter, education etc.) those people are not to be thrown directly in to jail or inprisonment.

With the history of recidivism....You are correct....but maybe an instant death sentence would be better. It would certainly lower the burden that keeping them in country club style jails places on the taxpayer.

Because we seem to believe that everyone can change for the better. I say it would be a more productive use of time and budget to just shoot them on sight.... But I guess that's just me.
