Does anyone know a way of preventing this ? Don't tell me my shoes are i'll fitting......... this happens after 1 hr of soccer.

Since you are looking for possibilities:
I get the same thing between my toes and it is not due to rubbing or ill fitting shoes. In my case it is a blister that forms due to a formaldehyde allergy. Have you been tested for chemical allergies? Perhaps that is what it is in your case as well?
Perhaps you have a few pores blocked so that when the foot sweats the sweat forms a blister???? not sure if there is any science to support this one though.

Do you wear socks? If you don't, then WEAR SOCKS. or the leather on your shoes will make more blisters....

Wear two pairs of sox.
