Do you think this was racist and sad?

I read someone's answer and it said:

EVERY nationality has there fair share of beautifull women but in my opinion, the most unattractive are the african-american women because most of them have such a strong resemblence to their simian ancestors! But take heart, if they keep on with the inter racial mating with any other race but black, (the lighter the better) in about another generation or two, we oughta have just about all the monkey bred out of them!

It broke my freaking heart. I am black but not African American but i am still from African descend. This offended me really bad and i see it as racism at it's lower level.. Do you think this was racist and sad? Please don't say anything mean to me because of my colour. If you won't say anything nice then don't bother answering.

It's a horrible thing to say about any person from any race.. It's probably opinion but a sad and not an open minded opinion.

Absolutely appalling!!!!!! And so not even true. Halle Berry and Naomi Campbell (Just to name two of so many) are absolutely gorgeous. And of course it's true of all races, there are beutiful people in all. Don't take it to heart. This guy has his opinion, which he is entitled to, and the rest of the world can have their opinion, most of them surely having the opinion that this gut is a sad, pathetic f@&k wad.

Yes it is racist and sad. First of all lets take a look at the statement about evolving from monkeys. If( and I do not!) If a person believes that humans evolved from monkeys then where do they think that the colors came from? Not only that then if all humans evolved from monkeys then all are related regardless of color. It would have to mean that whatever his color was he or she also evolved from the animals. Now let's take a look at being created. Which I do believe in. All people were created. I believe the creator reallys likes colors all colors. If he did not he would not have created everything in color. There is no black and white. Trees are green the flowers from the trees are in many different colors. Even water can appear to be different colors from Red to Yellow to Blue. Etc... Further more, in the animal world pick birds for instance, they are all birds but they are in so many different colors and shapes that it is impossible to keep track. The birds don't see one color as better than another, they are not interested in that they are interested in taking care of themselves and each other. When people make statements like that person did to you they are only showing that they do not have good thinking capabilities no matter where they went to school at.

I mean, you can't judge somebody who is from a different country or race on your standards of beauty!!! For instance say in America, we consider people with tan skin to be beautiful. We can't judge somebody who is irish on these standards, and same with somebody from Africa or something. I hate when people are like this, because every single women has something about them that is absolutely beautiful even if it is inside or out. I ask you please not to take this to heart. OMG I can't believe that someone could be so low and heartless. That answer was totally racist! There shouldn't be any question in your mind about that at all! Black women are beautiful just as women of all nationalities. That person; no matter how beautiful on the outside; is dark and ugly inside.

that is so messed up. It really bother me that people still feel that way. and it shows me that people are still that ignorant. Martin Luther king and other famous leaders worked so hard for us to have that freedom everybody deserves. And it shows that people need to wake up. Some people don't think that certain things they say hurt other people because they just don't care. they don't have a heart and don't deserve a place on this earth. I was just reading yesterday in "People" magazine that these black people in a small town in Mississippi or Alabama didn't know that they were free. in the article it was stating that black people was still living in slavery days and younger black women and men was still getting raped and beating. And what really broke my heart is when this older black women said when she was 5 she was raped by 4 white men and watched her mother get beat up when they was raping her. I don't know how some people who are racist sleep at night knowing the hate another race because they are different from them. I wish that people who are racist can live in some one of color shoes and see how it feel. It's very sad feeling knowing it's somebody in the world don't like you because you are a person of color. its very sad.

Whoever wrote that has an ugliness all their own to deal with. They are showing their ignorance by such a stereo type. Don't let it bother you, I feel sorry for people that are so narrow minded. They could very well be missing out on some of the best people on this planet due to skin color.

Black Pa: It is so odd to me that this is just another example that one person's trash is another person's treasure. I love the dark skin of black people. I think it is beautiful. I work with children and If you take a random sampling of two year olds they are all sooo beautiful -black, white, oriental it doesn't matter. That statement broke my heart too. I am a 57 year old white woman. I have seen many examples of racist behavior in my life. I am originally from Alabama - George Wallace's Alabama. I remember "white only"drinking fountains, and I have seen crosses burning. I never attended an integrated school -not even college. People are cruel - and stupid. Many things have changed for the better but many still need to change. Do not let one person's idiotic remarks make you think we all feel that way-we don't that fool was just showing his/her lack of IQ. -k-

This was clearly a racist rant meant to offend. It may have been a "troll" - sometimes people will write very offensive questions or answers to get inflammatory responses, attention or just to piss people off. Usually the "trolls' go the route of racism, gay bashing etc
Obviously there are many beautiful black women - anyone with a television knows that ;)
