The best and single most beautiful part of living are babies. I can't even describe the joy and love my children bring me. I thank God and my wife every day for them.

They are both. Maybe not exactly a bundle of joy but, in most cases, there is a great deal of love for them on the part of the family. There is NOTHING like parenthood. They are a burden without a doubt because of the huge financial price tag to raise and educate them.

They can be both! If you are not ready for a child, then you might feel they are a burden. But when you are ready to have kids, then its a full bundle of joy. But face it, kids will be kids, and they will be annoying and cute all at the same time. It just depends on the person's personallity! But you have to be 1000% ready to have one.

When you are ready to share your life with children you experience elation and deflation. Your total "being" changes. I would never say my children are a burden but they sure do test my patience at times - but the flip side is they bring so much joy to my life. They can make you smile with the smallest of things......

Burden - never. Bundle of joy - always. (Of course, things are not that clear when you are sleep deprived, blury eyed, and feeding a screaming baby every 2 hours!).

Are you expecting? or just curious?

Babies are a bundle of joy....if you think of them as a burden then don't have one.
