No, it is not okay. you can hurt yourself maybe and you can ruin your laptop. you can have the battery off and have it plugged it, but take off the battery while the laptop is shut down and unplugged.

NO
u should not remove battery while it is on - it may cause spark (after all you suddenly unplugging a power supply from a ON machine anyway) - --- u should turn off the laptop & then unplugged - if screen is locked, hold "Power Button" of your laptop & shut it down then remove battery

specific you may eliminate the battery jointly as the pc remains working. the less your battery has to recharge the cells, the longer this is going to final. I advise doing this in case you would be table certain for it sluggish and don't would desire to pass around. i could be sure the battery is charged till now you are attempting this in case some thing have been to ensue and you mandatory to pass around.

While this may be a harmful thing for you, it could also very well affect your laptop very negatively. I wouldn't recommend it at all both for your and your laptop's safety
