Normally when a period starts there is a dark, thick, and brown liquid that is mainly telling you, " You about to start!" This is very normal. Cramps are normal on the second ay because technically it is really you first day. The brown is warning, Red is staring. Cramps come with red, or the few days before the period. Backache is normal for a female with cramps. The muscles tense up so mush that after a while you back bend and twist so much it tend to ache. Take 1 pamprin and one midol and you will be fine of that for the rest of the day. You may want to take baths when you get home from work to relax those muscles that are not feeling good. Then get a hot cup of tea and sit and read a book. This will relax you down enough where ou don't realize the pain. After doing that for about an hour you can do what you feel. Good luck and have fun!

No, these are normal symptoms some women experience while on the period. I get heavy, dark blood and get really bad cramps. I don't experience backache very often. If it's lower backache, it's fine but you should drink a little bit more water as it could be your kidneys.

But you sound Fine to me =) xox
