Your question is very valid, and stems from a problem staring society. In the garb of being modern and outgoing adultery is gaining ground and more and more women are falling prey to it. Men always committed adultery, the numbers may have increased today. So it boils down to a question of opportunity.
Forgiven is a generic term................. the woman committing adultery was doing so under what circumstances............. If there are factors that forced the woman to try adultery, it could be given a thought...... but adultery, for the sheer sake of it ..... well, it has to be decided on the merits of the case......

There could be no standard answer to fit all situations, or all forms of adultery.

As per the age, generally every human beings gets matured, specially when married at & above their 18 yrs.

The matured ladies are aware of the consequences for the sexual commitments. and they cann't be committed unless agreed or willing.

So the justification may not be accepted, but the case should be required to study the circomstances.

Forgiven, depends on the situation. The justification does not matter, it is still wrong and always will be.
