I have had it with people who call them selves scientists and self appointed solution makers who keep on ruling out the existence of a creator even though the complexity of life around them and the fact they cannot explain zillions of things point out they might be wrong.
I explain, why is it that science develops crazy theories about the universe and the laws that govern it which happen to be way more far-fetched than the work of a creator ? They admit that the universe is too complex to be governed by chance, and they realize that if earth for instance was to be few centimetres closer or farther from the sun, no life could have existed on it in the first place ! The same thing applies to our own existence, they say there is no way the complexity of our brains, our hearts, the way we breath etc could have evolved from a simple organism that gave birth to this immense Varity of creatures all with a very precise purpose to play in the complex game of life ! And why are we the only creatures to ponder about our existence, why aren’t cows or squirrels making theories and using computers ?! why didn’t they evolve to the level we are now if we evolved from monkeys ? why didn’t some monkeys evolve to our standard ?? all these questions and many many more remain unanswered by the scientific community which keeps on proposing some far fetched “theories”, and for those who are not sure what a theory is, it’s nothing more that a speculation with no hard evidence.
So here we are, in a universe we barely understand, we try to deny the existence of a creator in order to allow our selves to behave like animals and therefore ignore all moral values which by the way, where did we get those values from, and why are they so perfect in making our lives more organised and prevent chaos and mayhem ?!!!
Now that the scientific community is stuck and cannot explain how perfect the design of life is they go as far as imagining a new theory which proposes that our universe is one of many other universes and that some of those universes might be so much technologically advanced that they would have the intelligence to simulate our universe just as we today simulate a computer game?? (meaning we are now living in a super massive computer system and on the other side of the screen are very smart green man enjoying their brand new 11 dimensional game !!!! Doesn’t that eerily remind you of something ?? someone intelligent controlling our lives and the laws of nature ??? !!! This is just instance, anything is possible, any thing is acceptable but God, no way !!!!
I just wish they open their eyes before it’s too late !
Salam !

Ps: I never said Science should be ignored and that we should turn to religion only , quite the contrary, I believe that science could be much more productive if it were to introduce the concept of a creator to its dominantly secular belief system, God actually encourages to us to ponder and search for truth in this life because he is confident we will eventually find out the truth about his existence as Albert Einstein said on his death bed: “God is not hiding anything from us, he only wants us to look harder”
Take the hint !

Quote: "Now that the scientific community is stuck and cannot explain how perfect the design of life is they go as far as imagining a new theory"
I understand your argument and your different theories, but life is nowhere near perfect with design, it is very complex and intelligent but over however many thousands and millions of years we've been on earth this could have easily become the 'perfect' we see today.
another quote: "So here we are, in a universe we barely understand, we try to deny the existence of a creator in order to allow our selves to behave like animals and therefore ignore all moral values which by the way, where did we get those values from, and why are they so perfect in making our lives more organised and prevent chaos and mayhem ?!!!"
Most people are 'in the middle' about the subject. Not sure whether to believe in some holy creator or figure out some other theory. But let me ask you this, since science has no real basis, apart from the big bang theory and other evolutionary theories, and religion has a 2000 year old holy story about god and jesus and his life, nothing will ever be discovered from following a religious life. If you see what im saying, religion cannot progress or reveal anything to us since you have to follow the same routine and read the same bible and have been for the past 2000 years, and it's saying that it's just revealed everything about life, whereas science, new things can be discovered and learnt.

I don't think denying the existance of a creator means we allow ourselves to act like animals. That has nothing to do with it. My answer to your question is that those values came form experience and psychological results as we evolved. Evidently, the world is STILL not perfect but it has greatly improved. Before, people used to decapitate eachother but from these experiences they created different values. Better values that improved society. I personally do not believe in god because I find the scientific explanations more credible. However, I respect all opinions. The more you know about science, the more it all makes sense, pointing in the direction of evolution etc...whether you choose to open your eyes to it, is a completely different story. I think religion was developed as a result of unexplainable events and psychological comfort of poeple. People created "god" because it is the most convenient belief (knowing that we are not alone and that once we die we won't be "gone"). And so people chose to believe in god.

Wow, there are so many things wrong with your post it's hard to know where to begin! To begin with, why are theories of the universe any more far fetched than an entity that made it possible to even think of those things? Just because scientists don't have the answer to everything RIGHT NOW is not reason enough to assume that an invisible superhero made everything possible. You've caught yourself in a fallacy a false dilemmas by providing only two possibilities when there may be more. How do you know there aren't multiple creators? How do you know the Tao isn't responsible for everything? I also might add that complexity- in any context- is only so to someone's degree of understanding. A car mechanic knows an engine better than you and so to them, car engines are not as complex as they are to you. Please, next time you post, try reading a few dozen books before posting such shortsighted questions.
PS- How do you know other animals don't contemplate the meaning of their lives; do you know what it's like to be a fish?

WHOOA, hold on there
People like you is the reason why i choose not to be involved in any religion.
I might as well claims that i am the next messiah, and you should believe me. If you don't then the very exact thing that happened to jesus thousands of years ago will happen again. Do you buy that ? I bet you don't ? but what if i am? But what if i'm not?
The thing is, there are reasons why people who choose to believe, and reasons behind those who do not.
I believe the very reason why all the so called scientist choose not to believe in GOD goes more than just whether or not God fits in the equation they come up with.
It's about how they live their life.
Indeed all the theorethical breakthroughs in physics is still far from explaining the existance of GOD, The way all the people so easily and firmly believed in.
But that's the whole idea about science, they will explore and study all the possibility of this phenomenon. They refuse to give up and simply accepts God as it is. Why? Because we are human. The fundamental difference between us human, and other living beings is that we are intelligent. ---and we balanced it with our conscience to prevent an ethical breach--- Being intelligent means that we can THINK and we progress through the results of our thoughts. By that only, dont you think that the idea of accepting –GOD- without even questioning or seeking the truth about his existence directly contradicts the very basic of human nature, the very characteristics that defines our species than the other, and possibly the the very reason why we were created in the first place.
So you see i'm not weighing God's existence through scientific results and theories, i'm seeing through our human nature.
Thus it can be argued that those who simply believes in god, in his plan, and his power to control absolutely everything, don't have to bother being a human being, they're just computers whose main objective is to have absolute faith to GOD, and will not do any computing process that might compromise it's main objective. They give up , meaning that they refuse to use their full potential of their intelligent to even question the issue.
And i refuse to be that kind of people. i refuse to agree that whenever good things happens to us. We say that's it's his blessings, but when s**t happens they say that he works in a mysterious way.
In the end, being scientific is not the same as believing that God does not exist. It's about realizing that there are still many variables involved in it, that it's way to soon to come up with any conclusion whatsoever, so rather than sink/spend/waste our time of life blindly embracing one of the possibilities, lets use it to explore all the other possibilites, until we understand every single one of it, then can we make our choice and fight for it till the end..................
just be human

Slow down !
Everybody is entitled to their own opinion surely. I do not ask you to believe what I believe, should you ask me to believe what you believe ?
I take issue with your first sentence - "those who call themselves scientists". You will no doubt find many opinionated people on this forum, but that is surely the point of a forum. A "proper" scientist is someone who has spent many years studying his chosen topic and is an expert in his field............any theory propounded by a "proper" scientist should be backed by rational and repeatable fact and experimentation.
I would also like you to consider that one school of scientific thought currently sees the need for a creator to explain the existence of the "cosmological constant" - not all scientists accept the "multiverse" solution.
Please remember that science, like religion, often breaks into factions and not all people believe the same thing. I myself see no clash between my work in science and my beliefs as a Christian.

Perhaps you should calm down, you sound like a crazy person. I'm an atheist because I categorise religion and god etc as nothing more or less than mythology. Everyone's entitled to opinions, and people tend to believe more in things when they are faced with solid evidence and not just confronted with ideas based solely on faith.
