Have you ever seen the Pirelli calendar - those pictures are the tops. Nothing is actually revealed, but it is a nude body and very very erotic. That's real professional photography

Keep it simple. Forget the lights. Use light from a large window with a large white sheet on the opposite side of the model to fill. Keep the pose natural and comfortable.
Leave the posing to the model. A trained model knows his/her best poses and the limits of motion of their own body. Even amateur models typically can do a better job of poses than the photographer. The photographer is there to press the button when the best pose occurs, and not to direct
Your job as the photographer is to know how your camera and lenses operate and to look for potential problems, such as:
Awkward positioning of the arms, legs, and head.
Wrinkles appearing when the torso or neck is turned too far.
Elongation or shortening of body parts caused by proximity of the camera.
Shadows and bright hot spots caused by uneven lighting.
And most importantly, watch the viewfinder to assure yuou are not cutting off part of the body or shooting at a weird angle.
Nothing screams amateur as much as a picture shot at a 45 degree angle with half the head cut off
Use your model's abilities, avoid the above technical problems, know the limitations of your camera & lenses, and press the shutter button at the right moment, and you'll always have good results.

I've always been drawn to the odalisque. Search that term up, and you'll see a lot of paintings/photography, etc.
It usually incorporates a female nude, reclining in a seductive yet tasteful position. She often includes a minimal piece of clothing: shoes, a veil or small fabric.
The odalisque is traditionally a woman who is there for the male gaze; to enjoy however he chooses. Many odalisques are actually of prostitutes.
Some examples: Manet's Olympia, Odalisque with a slave by Jean Auguste Dominique Ingres, painted in 1840, Odalisque painted by Jules Joseph Lefebvre (1874).

You are best to peruse the many websites that advertise photographic nude studies and decide what you like in their choices of posing.
It it really up to your own taste and conception of what you feel good about.
It is a very artistic skill to stay away from the suggestion of porno while posing your model.

Use light and shadow strongly; suggest the mood, do not show.
