Kusum,
I looked back at your question by clicking on your name and looking under your questions. First it shows that you chose an answer and that closed the question but there are also a lot of rude/dumb answers there that weren't there last night when I answered your question. So maybe it was closed because you answered, maybe Yahoo closed it, maybe you asked the same question twice, I don't know.
Now that I think about your question again and think back to my own experience, I wonder, where are you living? And is it an election year? I remember one election year I was living in Bakirkoy and religion was everywhere and the issues were all being pushed and the head scarf university drama was happening... it was hard to be around constantly, I thought, 'Why do these people want to move backwards?'. Not that I don't like religion but it was a sore point and it made everyone on edge, people argued about it constantly. And then two years later poof!, it's no longer in fashion. Maybe I moved to Cihangir and so I stopped noticing, later Karakoy then Tunel, I didn't notice there either, maybe the trend changed and people stopped talking about it. But maybe you are living right in the middle of it.
One thing I can say about Turkey, it changes VERY QUICKLY. I think it is at the root of being Turkish to be constantly evolving. So on one hand I'm saying to you: This religious trend will go away and on the other hand I am saying that it IS PART OF TURKISH CULTURE to adopt other cultures, internalise them, personalise them, take what they want to keep and leave the rest behind. Same as any culture but Turks do it faster.
Have a good morning and take care.
P.S. and that question had a lot of stars???

Whoa! where is your question really? I didnt think that it insulted any one in the community and bcoz of freedom of speech what people say, your question shouldnt have been deleted anyways. Btw, I still dont agree with what you said in that question, lol. But, it didnt mean that it must have been removed..Pitty on Yahoo Answers!, isnt it?

As I wrote you, evolution is the answer. We have to remember our past, but evolution demands changes. I'm Greek and ancient Greeks wore chlamys. Can you imagine today people wear chlamys?
Just as TV and propaganda forbids pluralism and truth to you someone in Yahoo!Answers forbids your thoughts!!

Hi,

I wonder too. I think, your question was reported by someone, Bird.

So, I noticed this morning. And asked you, you will remember.
Today, you will probably receive a e-mail from Yahoo Customer care. (I received it 2 days ago.)

my two answers also were deleted which i gave no violation in... this yahoo politics deleting some comments and questions are completely nonsense! even there is no something wrong, our answers and questions are being deleted nonsensely (i think on purpose!)

but, interestingly, racists people's comments remain even we report them!

yahoo is on the hand of racists!

No idea why it got deleted. I didn't agree with what you said, but I think it was not a question to be deleted.

i don't know but ppl do it to my questions too, if they don't like it they report it, and then yahoo doesn't even read them properly most of the time and delete it...

Well, I think it was pointless anyway. I could post a long answer but what benefit would it bring? History is history.
