Don't worry about it, It's all swings and roundabouts, unless they get lethargic from lack of food he'll be okay, His appetite will pick up again, I know its hard not to worry but all kids do this.

children have phases where they stuff themselves and then graze on other days. its natural and they will not go hungry, so dont worry. a rusk is great for breakfast.. will he eat a banana of yoghurt too? doesnt matter if he doesnt want anything else fo rnow.
my youngest is 2 1/2 and before xmas she refused any breakfast, just wanted drink of milk and to steal a bit of my toast later!
now shes back on track.. bowl of ceral, toast, milk to drink, banana or youghurt too some mornings! its all swings and roundabouts. as long as eating the rest of the day and offered healthy snacks then he'll be fine.
arent kids a worry eh?! and we dont get a manual either!
good luck & dont stress

I have a 2 and 4 year old and their eating patterns and tastes change all the time. I wouldn't worry too much, as long as he is eating fairly well throughout the day. Just keep offering him breakfast and his eating patterns may change again. Good luck!

yes a little bowl of cereal for breakfast is sufficent for a 2 year old. you can also try giving him some toast with some sort of jam and a little cup of milk or juice. at other times a sandwish slice of ham and cheese.

my daughter is nearly five and for breakfast this morning she had a handful of cereal with no milk. my son had cereal, toast and fruit with yoghurt. some kids eat more than others, and ive noticed especially at around 2 they will eat like horses for a little while, then just stop, then do it again.

this is either a growing thing or they just like to make their mummies worry!!!! try tempting him with other breakfasts, fresh fruit, eggy bread, yoghurts. my kids love to make flapjacks with dried fruit then smother them with natural yoghurt. you can make a batch and it will last for a few days. unless they eat them all on the first day!!!

my son is the same age and the same too, we give him a yoghurt or a piece of fruit at least he gets the goodness and his belly isnt empty, dont worry too much i have had 5 kids and they all go throught his stage at some point, just dont make a big deal about it, he will eat if he is hungry, do try the yoghurt, (i use the frubes as he can still be on the go as he eats and he is being independant too )

he might of just got bored of it, my son gets fed up of certain cereals for a little while. I now have a few on rotation.
Raisin wheats are a good one,
Porridge with honey and raisins is another favourite in our house.
Brown toast.
Corn flakes.
Cheerios
...Just vary what you give him.
