No, the Bible says that the animals were made and then man(see Genesis chapters 1-3). the reason God preserved the animals and birds on Noah's ark was "to keep their various kinds alive throughout the earth" after the flood was gone (Genesis 7:3). Since dinosaurs apparently were extinct a long time before Noah, and also didn't appear after the flood, it seems unlikely that his ark included such creatures.
God created everything—and yes, that this means He also created the dinosaurs. They aren't mentioned in the Bible, however, since they were extinct by the time it was written. I also don't know why God let them become extinct (although I'm not sorry He did; I'd hate to have a hungry dinosaur peek over the fence at me!).
The Bible makes it clear that nothing happened on earth by accident; everything was created by God, and was in accordance with His perfect design. The very first verse of the Bible says, "In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth" (Genesis 1:1). The Bible also tells us that Christ was given the assignment of actually creating the universe, and "without him nothing was made that has been made" (John 1:3).

Actually, according to the bible, animals were created before man. Read Genesis 1:1-28. Thats the creation story. It shows Man was created last. Inspite of this, he had the task of naming all the creatures.
So I suppose it is right to say dinosaurs predate us.

Because the bible was written by man so man could understand it, using the words of God and twisting them to suit themselves. Think about it how could you explain to man kind thousands of years ago how man started, where we come from, you make up a story called Adam and Eve, and say we were created in God's image, but God is not a being, and what were Adam and Eve how about two little things that started life in a pond and then one went on land, this is where God, and Evolution come together.
the Bible contains a lot of facts of the past, some which we now know are true, and a lot of it is to do with faith, to understand the bible you have to read it and find the truth, take out what man has changed and you will find Gods words as they were meant to be.

Actually, the creation of animals and the human in the Bible is a contradiction:
It is said in Genesis 1:20-25, that the animals were created on the 5th and 6th day, and the human was created on the 6th day (Gen 1:26-31), after plants and animals. But then suddenly, it is said that The Lord God, didn't want the man is alone. !!! How alone when plants and animals were created before him! They're created after him as it is desribed here, in Gen 2:18-19:
[Then the LORD God said, "It is not good that the man should be alone; I will make him a helper fit for him." So out of the ground the LORD God formed every beast of the field and every bird of the air, and brought them to the man to see what he would call them; and whatever the man called every living creature, that was its name.]
I hope this is ''clear''.

The Bible doesn't say that man was made before the animals. Human beings are the summit of God's creation. See Genesis Chapter 1.
In any case, Genesis is spiritual truth not scientific explanation.

First of all the Bible does not say that man predated animals and second, how do you know the dinosaurs predate us? After all, isn't that the whole issue? Is evolution right or is creation right, and at this point in time evolution has not proven creation wrong.

Because creationalism theory is just plain wrong... I asked the same question when I was younger and my dad, a minister but also a doctor (medicine) explained it to me as Genesis is a story-telling mechanism to explain to people simply about Darwinism and evolution - they don't get it right but given the age of the text (coming on for 6000 years now? Sure someone will correct me on that...) it is still a fairly developed explaination. You also have to remember that the bible was all written down LONG after the event by people who had had stories passed down through generations - think of it like Chinese whispers - and so some bits are bound to be a bit off key although they did the best they could with the knowledge that they had at the time. Must admit, I fail to see why so many Christians can't take the bible with a pinch of salt on matters like this and insist on believing that things happened exactly as it says!

Hi there were six days of creation, on the fifth day and sixth day the animals were made according to genesis then man was made. In the book of Ezekiel it reads a day is unto a thousand years as a thousand is unto a day to the lord this is a key to understanding that there was a time span between each creation.

The bible is totally clueless on the subjects of Geology, Astronomy, Evolution, Physics etc. But has extremely strong opinions about them. Man first then the Animals. That's the least of your problems it actually is the whole of creation way way after the dinosaurs hundreds of millions of years after the dinosaurs. What can one do. That's faith for you

I think you should try reading it for yourself. See the link below.
Animals were created before man. Genesis 1:20 - 1:26
Man was in the garden of Eden before animals though!
Genesis 2:08. God did not want Adam to be alone in the Garden of Eden, so he formed animals to be there also. Genesis 2:18 & 2:19. I understand this to mean that he created animals in the Garden of Eden which already existed on the rest of the earth.
