Helpppp please????

My family and I, just got back from Punta Cana. Our scalps (including my 7 and 6 year old children) are extremely itchy.
We don' have lice, and no dandruff. It really wears us out. A hairdresser told us, the scalp could be dry. We use conditioner etc. Should I see a doctor ?
