All the sites that promise, suggest or try to scare you into using their product or service are BOGUS!!!
I have used cCleaner for years on Windows, it's fast, rock solid and absolutely free.
Just take a few minutes to "Take the Tour" and read the FAQ's (2nd link below) before using.
