Ive been a fan of rollercoasters but only the ones that are fast (small-medium up and down hills, straight or curvey rails) NOT the (go extremely high and drop straight down) type coasters. Its not that i have a fear of heights, its just i HATE that stomach feeling, i want to enjoy roller coasters like that so badly especially since my gf is a fan of every type of roller coaster ( she has the stomach for them ). Ive never had the stomach to handle those down hill drops wether its a straight going up and dropping "free fall" type rides or rides that are similiar to goliath at six flags.

Well im sure you get the point on how much i want to enjoy those rides without having too worry about hurting my stomach (and gettin headaches since i somehow get one after getting those stomach feelings every time).

Its not that i HAVE to get on these rides, its just that i want too.

Any tips on supressing or getting rid of these stomach feelings would be GREATLY appreciated! Take care

well I think stomach feelings are really fun, no no you cant take my advice as I'm paranoid since the last time I was on a roller coaster: it was like four years ago when I was at high school, there was that interesting slope so my friend tempted me by saying:'' you sit on it and I'll push u down the slope'' but I very cleverly said:'' no. I'll stand and u push me'' well what happened is that she did not push me but rather the coaster under me ...... u can imagine how the situation was, I fell right on my hips but I didn't simply fall coz in the process of falling I grabbed my friend's breasts.
result: I cut her bra, my pants, i had a bruise in my right hip,
and above all breathless...
sorry for tellin u all this but your question just reminded my with the event.
P.S be grateful to be a good coaster rider, it's so fun to enjoy it without embarrassing falls. and never mind the stomach

For me, that's the feeling that makes it fun! Maybe it's just how different people are built; I just ride along with that feeling and let it happen.

I can't say for sure, but I have a feeling that it's something you either know instinctively how to deal with, or you don't; I'm honestly not sure it can be learned. I've never been a person who gets carsick/seasick/airsick, so I have a feeling that it's just something that my body knows how to do, and for me, it's fun. Maybe if I really thought I was in danger, it would be different, but since on a roller coaster I know the chance of injury is extremely small, I can let go of the sensations as warnings of danger, and just enjoy the rush.
