every couple hours on each channel for a year. Like incontenance in other people's cars. Just keep having sitcoms, news programs, tele-dramas keep talking about the need for, "Fecal tollerance."

Discuss.

you can make the masses believe anything as long as it is on TV.

you can say being gay is 100% fine, to kill others is 100% fine, and then play a few movies, a few sitcoms showing these items as ok and then have a news program say they have a scientist saying it is ok. the masses will believe it, follow it and edit anything else they believe in to make that fit.

it is why they call the TV a boob tube.....for those that follow and believe in it, become boobs. here is a great video clip from a movie that was made 30 yrs ago, but so fits today:

And here is a clip from when I was a kid that was fed to my generation, yet everyone has forgotten these simple facts:

There are a few reasons really. (1) Top and foremost, the political image of the US - hawkish, constantly in other country's business, going about its interests just as any other, but much more aggressively under the deception of "liberation, freedom protection", etc, etc. IMO, a country that hosts a full blown ghetto 3 blocks away from White House and is as internally polarized as no other civilized nation, should take care of their own problems before having a say in how other people live. (2) Ignorance of the mainstream Americans regarding the realities of the world. Not their fault - American media appears to be doing a great job at fact massaging so that America achievements make the deadlines while anything else is hardly ever mentioined. Nevertheless the fact remains (3) General attitude of "America is best in the world" "Americans are best people", "America invented best things the world possess", "America won WWII", "America won Cold War" (especially the latter 2 are so very far from the reality). This point is the consequence of (1) and (2) mostly, yet a major pet peve of non-Americans. The reality is, the world has perfectly made it through its history and to the year 1776 before America didn't exist. While indeed a lot of wonderful inventions were made in the US, even more were made elsewhere. Many were *repeated* in the US, but yet taken the full credit for. Hint - neither radio, nor electrical lighting nor a computer were really invented in the US. Popularized - maybe, invented - no. So all for all, the world doesn't hate the Americans, such as you and those you care about it. There are a lot of great people who are born and currently live in the US. It's the American image that many dislike. Hope this helps.

Ha Ha that is funny and O so true. People seem to think if the tv says it then it HAS to be true. Can you believe in a true poll that many Americans think the Daily Show is true and real news with John Stewart. No wonder other countries look down on Americans

The tele evangelists get people to accept what they're preaching.

I reckon that's pretty extreme.

Americans seem to think they have the right to ignore the sovereignty of whatever nation irks them at any given moment!

I think those religious programs that con millions out of people answer your question.

Someone said: Make a lie big enough and tell it often enough and people will believe it.
I think it was Hitler who said that.

Americans will believe anything, they are retarded (with a small exception of the learned ones)

It sure worked for evolution, didn't it? Disney has been telling kids for years that animals are millions of years old and now everyone believes it, even though there's no evidence for it.
